This tasting brings together three distinct styles: a structured, polished interpretation of Malbec; a Gaillac cuvée from one of France’s oldest wine regions showing tension, spice, and lift; and a Montecucco red that demonstrates why Tuscany’s lesser-known appellations are gaining the attention of serious collectors.
We examine how altitude, climate, and winemaking shape flavour and balance. Expect a focused, story-led session with clear takeaways: how to choose reds that stand up to festive food, how to identify quality beyond the famous regions, and how these producers achieve freshness and elegance in warmer climates. Paired with thoughtfully prepared Charcuterie & Cheese board, this evening is designed for guests who appreciate quality, detail, and wines with character.
On the night, we will taste 3 premium wines and a surprise bubbly to begin the festive evening.

A tiny winery based south of Bordeaux that consistently shoot way above it's weight in terms of quality and complexity. The 2012 vintage is a typical Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and a dash of the local Syrah for added spice. The wine is complex, with preserved dark fruits, olive tapenade flavours and a lovely earthiness.
Made from 100% Sangiovese and aged exactly like Brunello, we discover a 'Brunello-style' wine from the neighbouring village of Montecucco
