This wine is a dark, powerful, full bodied and complex merlot. In the glass the colour is shows an elegant garnet colour, but there is an immediate fine nose of cassis and blackberry, but it's on the palate were the magic happens - Every sip peels away at the many layers of flavours.
Dark dried fruit enveloped in an earthy, animal scent with hints of spice and tar. On the second glass, chocolate, warm fruit compote and woody flavours were backed by a sweet and slightly drying tannin with good persistance. The wine is fresh, warm spicy and full of those enjoyable leather and animal aromas.
