The Sparkling Tea category was born in 2010, thanks to award-winning sommelier Jacob Kocemba during his tenure at a Michelin-starred restaurant in Copenhagen, Denmark. Faced with the challenge of pairing a dessert with the perfect wine—despite access to an extensive cellar of over 1,700 bottles—Jacob found inspiration in tea. He crafted a unique tea extract using an exclusive blend of teas, creating a drink that quickly became a favorite among the restaurant’s guests.
Since then, Jacob has refined his craft through countless trials, drawing on his exceptional talent for blending flavors. This dedication has led to the creation of the exquisite Sparkling Tea variations we know today.
In 2017, Jacob teamed up with Bo Sten Hansen to bring Sparkling Tea to the global stage. With years of experience in business development and a deep passion for gastronomy, Bo complements Jacob’s vision, ensuring Sparkling Tea continues to captivate palates worldwide.
